We just sheared at the end of May, so will be posting a whole new set of yarns and fibers, but currently, we have suri/merino blends for shawls and blankets, and we have suri/coopworth blends for hats, scarves, mittens, and sweaters. We have worked with one of the best mills in the country to produce this yarn, and these skeins are truly beautiful. As the suri and wool come from our farm, the colors will be "one of a kind" and will vary from year to year. Because we sell our animals from time to time, we make no promises that we can reproduce the same color in future years, so make sure you purchase enough the first time around!
All yarns are offered in 100 gram skeins and sample cards are available for $2.00 plus shipping. The following yarns are currently available.
White - Sport Weight (about 350 yards/skein) - 85% suri/15% merino. This yarn is made from a very soft, 22 micron fleece that has loads of luster! Price: $28.00/skein.
Rose Grey - Fingering Weight (about 400 yards/skein) - 85% suri/15% silk. This is a beautifully blended yarn that can be knitted into a shawl that will go with just about anything. Lots of luster and fineness. Price: $30/skein.
Black - Sport Weight (350 yards/skein) - 85% suri/15% merino. Wonderfully soft, wonderfully lustrous.
Medium Fawn - Sport Weight (350 yards/skein) - 85% suri/15% merino. This yarn comes from one of our favorite girls on the farm! The color is beautiful and the fiber really shines. Price: $28.00/skein.
Rust (orange), hunter green, and burgundy - Sport Weight (400 yards) - 85% suri/15% coopworth. We knew we wanted to add some more colors to the mix, and what better way to do that than with a practical, sport weight yarn! Price: $24/skein.
White - DK Weight (275 yards) - 66% suri/33% coopworth wool. This is a great blend that brings together the lovely drape of suri with the crimp and luster of coopworth. This blend will produce lovely scarves and sweaters. You won't find this blend anywhere else, so don't miss out! Price: $20/skein.
